Polar Speed Distribution has selected 4S eLog software to optimize its management of temperature-controlled pharmaceutical distribution warehouses throughout the U.K..

Polar Speed was seeking a real-time barcode scanning warehouse management system to control multiple sites, according to an announcement. The distributor specializes in controlled-temperature products, including flu vaccine. Specific requirements included batch traceability, quarantining functionality, and interoperability with both SAP and Sage systems.

4S eLog provides WMS control of multiple sites and multiple clients being managed from within one environment. It has RF capabilities and offers web visibility to clients, their customers and their suppliers. Automated inbound and outbound processing and workflow management are available.
