Trade group goes electronic with manufacturing guides

ISPE has launched an electronic delivery option for its good practice guides. Three documents are currently available, and the not-for-profit association says it plans additional releases monthly throughout 2010.

Users can download the PDF guides, cut and paste within them, search, print, and add bookmarks and links. The electronic documents contain individual markings that identify the user who downloaded the file. 

Available documents are Sterile Manufacturing Facilities Baseline Guide, the ISPE Good Practice Guide: Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC), and the ISPE Good Practice Guide: Maintenance.  Next in line are GAMP 5; Oral Solid Dosage Forms Baseline Guide, 2nd Edition; GAMP Good Practice Guide: A Risk-Based Approach to Operation of GxP Computerized Systems; GAMP Good Practice Guide: Manufacturing Execution System; and GAMP Good Practice Guide: Validation of Process Control Systems.
