Pharma pulls up in fifth place on a 24/7 Wall St list of industries that will never recover their job losses. Authors do qualify the "never," however: "if they do it will take years or decades." It's the usual litany of patent expirations, revenue erosion via generics competition and worker-cutting mergers.
