Novartis shines in plant power
Novartis (NYSE: NVS) has dedicated a 1-megawatt solar array attached to its Vacaville, CA, biopharmaceutical site. The company expects to meet 20 percent of the plant's power needs from the $7 million system, whose 4100 solar panels cover five acres. Novartis has solar systems at five other sites. Article
