The driver departed from Forest Park, GA, traveling just 50 miles before pulling over at a truck stop. The truck was stolen while unattended.
Often thieves will canvas an area by breaking into passing tractor-trailers and taking samples to determine the type of product being moved through the area. This is presumed to be the case in a recent theft that took place in Memphis, where only a small amount of drugs was stolen.
